Creator verification, explained.

Use the private invitation for your channel. Verification is optional and free, and never publishes a store.

Before you continue

  1. Check that the handle and permanent YouTube channel ID in the invitation identify your channel.
  2. Read the Privacy & Google data notice and Terms of use, then choose Google verification.
  3. Select the Google account or Brand Account that owns the invited channel. Review the identity and read-only YouTube permission on Google’s screen.
  4. After a match, AssHats establishes access for that browser. Human review and creator approval still come before any site issuance.

When verification does not match

Try the owner account or the appropriate Brand Account. Some delegated YouTube Studio permissions do not establish ownership through this check. We cannot approve a channel based on a matching email, display name, screenshot or handle alone. If your Google identity has no YouTube channel, use the owner identity instead.

The app is currently in Google’s Testing mode. Only approved test accounts can complete Google verification. General creator access must wait for production configuration and Google review.

Private-link or session problems

Ask the operator for a replacement invitation if yours expired. Renewing an invitation invalidates earlier links and printed QR codes. A saved claim does not automatically sign in a different browser. End your creator session when finished on a shared computer.

Returning after withdrawal

If you want to work with AssHats again, contact support from your own initiative. A human operator can open a fresh invitation for your channel. You will verify ownership again before accessing creator features, and new work still needs human review. Your existing do-not-contact preference continues to apply to unsolicited outreach.

Contact and deletion requests

If you have a verified creator session, open “Disconnect and request data deletion” on your invitation. This immediately closes your AssHats links and removes the stored verification. It does not affect data on YouTube.

Email asshats.promo@gmail.com with your channel handle or URL and a brief description. Privacy and deletion requests are reviewed by a human. Never include passwords, tokens, private invitation links, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information.
